Which non-resident courses are featured here?

Arizona resident/non-resident training, California non-resident initial Part A, and California non-resident renewal Part A.

Are the California initial and renewal courses interchangeable?

No. Initial applicants must take the initial course; current permit holders renewing must take the renewal course required by their agency.

Does California Part A include the shooting qualification?

No. Non-resident applicants complete Part B live-fire separately in their hometown or local area with an accepted instructor or facility.

Does passing the Arizona quiz mean I will receive a permit?

No. The quiz is preliminary and informational only. Arizona DPS determines eligibility and permit issuance.

Does any course provide a nationwide permit?

No. There is currently no single concealed-carry permit recognized in every state.
